AnimDeck 0.6 - End User License Agreement and Terms of Use
Effective date: July 23, 2026
License model: AnimDeck EULA 1.0 - proprietary freeware. The software may be used free of charge for lawful personal, educational and commercial projects. AnimDeck is not open-source software.
These terms form an agreement between the person using AnimDeck (the “user”) and the author or distributor of AnimDeck (the “publisher”). By installing, launching or using the software, you accept these terms. Do not install or use AnimDeck if you do not accept them.
1. License
The publisher grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use AnimDeck free of charge for lawful personal, educational and commercial projects. This is a proprietary freeware license, not an open-source license. It does not transfer ownership of the software, name, branding, code or third-party components.
You may create, save, publish and sell your own work when you hold the necessary rights to all included materials. You may not present AnimDeck as your own software, remove legal notices, distribute a modified version as an official release, bypass safeguards, or use the software to attack, track or disrupt other people or systems.
2. Projects and imported materials
You retain the rights you already hold in your own projects. You are responsible for content you create, import, share and publish, and for obtaining the licenses, permissions and approvals required for images, audio, models, fonts, characters, trademarks and other materials.
A search result or asset preview does not grant permission from the rights holder and does not guarantee unrestricted use. Before publishing or selling a project, check the author, license and original source page.
3. Backups and file safety
Keep independent backups of important projects before importing, converting, collaborating, updating or exporting. Recovery of unsaved work, a damaged or overwritten project, or a file deleted by you, another participant or another program is not guaranteed.
Do not open projects or assets from people you do not trust. AnimDeck applies security checks, but no file or computer program can be guaranteed completely risk-free.
4. Online collaboration and communication
Online features may share your display name, status, room information, messages, invitations, selected files and shared-project changes with selected participants. Providers operating the connection may also process data required to deliver these features.
A room code makes joining easier, but it is not a password. Share it only with trusted people. A host may accept, remove or block participants. Other participants may change or replace shared content. Save your own copy before joining and before accepting major changes.
Harassment, threats, impersonation, spam, fraud, malicious files, privacy or copyright violations, bypassing safeguards and other unlawful use are prohibited. Access to online features may be limited to protect users, the software or the rights of others.
5. Privacy
AnimDeck may store settings, projects, recovery data and selected collaboration data on your device. Online features and asset search transmit the information needed to perform the action you selected. The Privacy Policy provides more detail.
Do not place passwords, financial information, identity documents, precise location or other confidential information in names, messages, searches, rooms or shared projects.
6. Availability, compatibility and updates
Features, formats, safety rules, search results and online services may be changed, limited or discontinued. An update may be required for security, compatibility or continued access to online features.
The publisher does not guarantee compatibility with every device, driver, imported file, third-party service or future operating-system version.
7. No warranty
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AnimDeck is provided “as is” and “as available,” without express or implied warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free results, fitness for a particular purpose, data recovery or permanent availability of online features.
These terms do not exclude mandatory warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the publisher and distributor are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit or opportunity, loss of unsaved or unprotected data, user content, actions of other participants, improper sharing of a room code, external materials, or failures, changes and incidents involving third-party services.
Where liability cannot legally be excluded, it is limited only to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited.
9. Consequences of unlawful use
To the extent permitted by law, users are responsible for claims, costs and losses caused by their unlawful content, deliberate misuse of the software or infringement of other people’s rights. This does not apply where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
10. Minors
A parent or guardian should supervise a minor’s use of communication, online collaboration and publishing where required by law or appropriate for the user’s age.
11. Access restrictions and ending use
The publisher may restrict access to online features when reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance or protection of other people’s rights. You may stop using and uninstall the software at any time. You remain responsible for your own files.
12. Changes and contact
A material change to these terms may require renewed acceptance. The date above identifies this version. Questions and reports involving abuse, security or infringement should be sent through the publisher’s official contact channel.
Mandatory consumer, copyright, privacy and product-liability laws in the user’s country continue to apply. Before paid or large-scale distribution, this document should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer and completed with the publisher’s legal and contact details.
Matsm Account
An account is optional unless a specific AnimDeck feature clearly requires sign-in. Users are responsible for protecting their password and active sessions. Accounts must not be used for impersonation, bypassing safeguards, automated bulk account creation or disruption of services. The account dashboard lets users update their profile and password, sign out devices and delete the account.
